Majeure Event definition

Majeure Event means an event or circumstance beyond the Partiesreasonable control that prevents either Party from complying from any of its obligations under the Contract; FOIA means the Freedom of Information Act 2000;
Majeure Event has the meaning specified in clause 15.1;
Majeure Event has the meaning given to it in clause 14. Goods: the goods (or any part of them) set out in the Order. Goods Specification: any specification for the Goods, including any relevant plans or drawings, that is agreed in writing by the Customer and Motion Impossible. Intellectual Property Rights: patents, utility models, rights to inventions, copyright and neighbouring and related rights, moral rights, trademarks and service marks, business names and domain names, rights in get-up and trade dress, goodwill and the right to sue for passing off or unfair competition, rights in designs, rights in computer software, database rights, rights to use, and protect the confidentiality of, confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets), and all other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications and rights to apply for and be granted, renewals or extensions of, and rights to claim priority from, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which subsist or will subsist now or in the future in any part of the world. Order: the Customer's order for the supply of Goods howsoever received.

Examples of Majeure Event in a sentence

  • A Force Majeure Event may arise due to causes and events out of Homefield Energy’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God; acts of any governmental authority; accidents; strikes; labor disputes; required maintenance work; inability to access DSP’s system; and non-performance by your DSP.

  • Homefield Energy is not liable for any such interruptions or any other failure to perform under this Agreement caused by a Force Majeure Event, nor is Homefield Energy liable for damages caused by Force Majeure Events.

  • A Force Majeure Event may arise due to causes and events out of DES’S reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God; acts of any governmental authority; accidents; strikes; labor disputes; required maintenance work; inability to access DSP’s system; and non- performance by your DSP.

  • The Impacted Party shall use diligent efforts to end the failure or delay and ensure the effects of such Force Majeure Event are minimized.


More Definitions of Majeure Event

Majeure Event means an event beyond a Party's control.
Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of the Vendor including act of God, fire, flood or other physical disaster, disruption to transport infrastructure, supply or production facilities, but does not include industrial action.

Majeure Event has the meaning set forth in Section 13.6 (Force Majeure) of this Agreement.
