Make Ready Costs definition

Make Ready Costs means the costs incurred by an Attacher associated with the transfer of the facilities, antenna, lines or equipment of a Pre-Existing Third Party User, undertaken by an Attacher to enable attachment to the utility pole or similar structure. Make-Ready Costs that are to be paid by an Attacher include, without limitation, all costs and expenses to relocate or alter the attachments or facilities of any Pre-Existing Third Party User as may be necessary to accommodate an Attacher’s attachment.

  • If Licensee agrees to the estimated Cost, Licensee will be obligated to pay for all Make Ready Costs associated with the Application.

More Definitions of Make Ready Costs

Make Ready Costs means all costs necessary for the City, and other existing parties on the applicable Pole, to prepare the Poles for a provider’s new, additional or modified Attachments, including, but not limited to, the costs of materials, labor, engineering, supervision, overheads, and tree trimming costs. Engineering includes design, proper conductor spacing and bonding, calculations to determine proper ground clearances and pole down guy and anchor strength requirements for horizontal and transverse loading, and compliance with all applicable requirements. Also included among Make Ready Costs are the costs of installing or changing out primary Poles, secondary Poles and drop and lift poles, including the cost of installation and/or removal of guys, anchors, stub poles, materials and equipment, temporary construction and all other construction in accordance with the technical requirements and specifications as required by the City. City Make Ready Costs shall be verifiably comparable to the cost the City pays for similar Make Ready Work to its own facilities.
Make Ready Costs means materials, labor, engineering, supervision, site work, and tree trimming costs required in connection with LICENSEE's installation or modification of Equipment on a Light Pole. Make- Ready Costs shall include the costs of changing out poles (to the extent LICENSOR will be required to change out poles under this Agreement), including the cost of installation and removal of guys, anchors and equipment, temporary construction, and all other necessary construction in accordance with applicable industry and safety standards. In addition, Make- Ready Costs include reimbursement to LICENSOR for its removal of lights and lighting equipment and LICENSOR owned communications and/or security equipment, if any, from existing Light Poles not being used jointly by LICENSOR and LICENSEE and reinstalling them on replacement Light Poles installed by LICENSEE for joint use by LICENSOR and LICENSEE. Make-Ready Costs shall also include negotiated costs for review or installation in Other Areas. Make-Ready Costs shall also include reimbursement for costs paid by the LICENSOR to third-party consultants, for plan review, installation, or other costs associated with LICENSEE's proposed use of Light Poles, including reimbursement to engineers, and others, for the first two (2) installations of each of the following types of attachments: (i) up to $2,000 in the aggregate for Light Poles in the Right of Way (other than Non-Standard Light Poles); (ii) up to $2,000 in the aggregate for Non-Standard Light Poles in the Right of Way; and
Make Ready Costs means all costs necessary for COOPERATIVE, and other existing parties on the pole, solely to prepare its Poles for Licensee’s new, additional or modified Attachments, including, but not limited to, the costs of materials, labor, engineering, supervision, overheads, and tree trimming costs. Engineering includes design, proper conductor spacing and bonding, calculations to determine proper ground clearances and pole down guy and anchor strength requirements for horizontal and transverse loading, and compliance with all applicable requirements. Also included among Make Ready Costs are the costs of installing or changing out primary Poles, secondary Poles and Drop/Lift Poles, including the cost of installation and/or removal of guys, anchors, stub poles, materials and equipment, temporary construction and all other construction in accordance with the technical requirements and specifications as outlined in this Agreement. COOPERATIVE Make Ready Costs shall be verifiably comparable to the cost COOPERATIVE pays for similar Make-ready work to its own facilities. Make Ready Costs do not include any costs associated with correcting existing violations of the COOPERATIVE, or others attached to COOPERATIVE’s Pole, at the time Licensee submits an Application.

Also included among Make Ready Costs are the costs of installing or changing out primary Poles, secondary Poles and Drop/Lift Poles, including the cost of installation and/or removal of guys, anchors, stub Poles, materials and equipment, temporary construction and all other construction in accordance with the technical requirements and specifications as outlined in this Agreement. EMC Make Ready Costs shall be verifiably comparable to the cost EMC pays for similar Make-ready work to its own facilities. Make Ready Costs do not include any costs associated with correcting existing violations of the EMC, or others attached to EMC’s Pole, at the time Licensee submits an Application.
Make Ready Costs means materials, labor, engineering, supervision, site work, and tree trimming costs required, where LICENSOR has elected to perform all or any portion of such work pursuant to Paragraph IV.a, below, in connection with LICENSEE's installation or modification of Equipment on an existing LICENSOR Pole. Make-Ready Costs shall include the costs of replacing existing poles (to the extent LICENSOR is undertaking the work required to replace existing poles under this Agreement), including the cost of installation and removal of guys, anchors and equipment, temporary construction, and all other necessary construction in accordance with applicable industry and safety standards (collectively sometimes referred to herein as "Make-Ready Work"). Except as otherwise mutually approved by the Parties, LICENSOR's Make-Ready Costs shall be paid by LICENSEE to LICENSOR as provided under Paragraph IV.a, below. Notwithstanding, Make-Ready Costs shall not include fees which may be separately charged to LICENSEE pursuant to LICENSOR's Ordinance or Resolution for plan review, permits, and inspections required in connection with any work to be performed by LICENSEE in LICENSOR's Right of Way or Other Areas. OTHER AREAS. Property owned and managed by the LICENSOR other than Right of Way. Other Areas includes "City Parks", defined for purposes of this Agreement as public parks, recreational facilities, and community centers administered by LICENSOR.
Make Ready Costs means all costs necessary for SLECA, and other existing parties on the pole, to prepare its Poles for Licensee’s new, additional or modified Attachments, including, but not limited to, the costs of materials, labor, engineering, supervision, overheads, and tree trimming costs. Engineering includes design, proper conductor spacing and bonding, calculations to determine proper ground clearances and pole down guy and anchor strength requirements for horizontal and transverse loading, and compliance with all applicable requirements. Also included among Make Ready Costs are the costs of installing or changing out primary Poles, secondary Poles and Drop/Lift Poles, including the cost of installation and/or removal of guys, anchors, stub poles, materials and equipment, temporary construction and all other construction in accordance with the technical requirements and specifications as outlined in this Agreement. SLECA Make Ready Costs shall be verifiably comparable to the cost SLECA pays for similar Make-ready work to its own facilities. Make Ready Costs do not include any costs associated with correcting existing violations of SLECA, or others attached to SLECA’s Pole, at the time Licensee submits an Application.
