Model Home definition

Model Home means a dwelling which is not occupied for human habitation but is used for the purpose of display to the public and where a portion of this dwelling may be used as a sales office for the dwelling units to be constructed on lots within a plan of subdivision.
Model Home means a new uninhabited single detached dwelling, semi-detached dwelling or street townhouse unit which is constructed to the requirements and provisions of the zoning category in which the model is proposed and is situated on lands in a draft approved plan of subdivision, with or without service connections, for the purpose of display and sale of the dwelling units to the general public.
Model Home means a single detached dwelling, semi-detached dwelling or townhouse block used in the interim for the sole purpose of an office and/or show room and/or sales centre to promote the sale of residential units within a draft approved plan of subdivision proposed for registration.

More Definitions of Model Home

Model Home means, with respect to each Qualified Project to be financed hereunder, a Home constructed and furnished initially for inspection by prospective purchasers, which Model Home will not be sold until all of the other Homes of its respective plan type in said Project are sold, and which otherwise shall remain as collateral for the Loan until the Loan is paid in full. If permitted by Lender in its sole discretion for any Project, a Model Home may be sold and leased back to Borrower pursuant to a lease that is assigned to Lender and that is acceptable in form and content to Lender and, in such event, said Model Home shall remain as a model for said Project to be used for the marketing of the Project until all Homes in the Project of the same plan type as said Model Home have been sold.
Model Home means a dwelling unit used initially for display purposes which typifies the type of units that will be constructed in the subdivision and which will not be permanently occupied during its use as a model.
