ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT. The plant mix materials from which the asphaltic pavement is manufactured and the plant at which it is manufactured shall meet the requirements of the State of Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Standard specifications, Articles 820; 802; 883; 831; 828; and 882. Load tickets that meet Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications must accompany all delivered materials. The Contractor must supply copies of all asphalt tickets to the City. Refer to plan sheet 5-002 for asphalt depths.

ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT. The plant mix materials from which the asphaltic pavement is manufactured and the plant at which it is manufactured shall meet the requirements of the State of Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Standard specifications, Articles 820; 802; 883; 831; 828; and 882. Load tickets that meet Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications must accompany all delivered materials. The Contractor must supply copies of all asphalt tickets to the City. Refer to plan sheet 5-002 for asphalt depths. This work shall consist of placement of Thermoplastic Pavement Markings. Final (thermoplastic) pavement markings shall be placed at least 20 calendar days but no more than 60 calendar days after placement of final asphalt lift. Final pedestrian crosswalk markings shall adhere to the latest standards. Pavement marking materials shall meet GDOT standard specifications and be on the qualified products list. The Contractor shall install temporary paint pavement markings prior to re-opening the roadway. This work will be considered incidental and should be included in the lump sum bid for Traffic Control. The 20 day wait period for installing final thermoplastic striping will not count against the available calendar days as long as all other work is complete, including temporary centerline striping, and the road has been re-opened.
ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT. A. Contractor shall place asphalt concrete on prepared aggregate base as specified below (exception will be “skin patch”). B. All design mixes for asphalt shall be used as specified in the geographic area by the State of California, Department of Transportation and as outlined in the standard specification of the State of California, Department of Transportation. C. Apply a paint binder coat to all vertical surfaces of cut pavement or exposed curb, prior to placing asphalt. D. Spread asphalt, three (3) inch mix aggregate, either using spreader box of small tractor with drag blade to a uniform surface, to grade, free from lumps, pockets and course material. E. Compact pavement, using tandem roller developing compression of 250 to 350 pounds of 95% of paving mixtures. Completed surface shall be thoroughly compacted, smooth, true to grade and cross section, free from ruts, humps, depression, or irregularities.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Irrigation An irrigation reduced pressure zone (hereinafter referred to as “RPZ”) is required for any irrigation systems and must be installed by the Developer and/or eventual lot owner and tested in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines for Designing Backflow Prevention Assembly Installations (hereinafter referred to as “Guidelines”). The initial test results and certification shall be submitted to the City of Maple Grove Public Works Department. Subsequently, the RPZ must be tested, per the Guidelines, at least annually by a certified tester with the results reported to the City of Maple Grove Building Department and the RPZ must be rebuilt as needed in accordance with the Guidelines. Test/rebuilt reports shall be mailed or faxed to the City of Maple Grove Building Department at (000) 000-0000. The irrigation system shall be designed and the Plans shall be modified accordingly, prior to the issuance of any permits for the development of the Property, to accommodate a 1-inch water meter and a maximum flow of 50 gallons per minute.

  • Dewatering (a) Where the whole of a site is so affected by surface water following a period of rain that all productive work is suspended by agreement of the Parties, then dewatering shall proceed as above with Employees so engaged being paid at penalty rates as is the case for safety rectification work. This work is typically performed by Employees engaged within CW1, CW2 or CW3 classifications. When other Employees are undertaking productive work in an area or areas not so affected then dewatering will only attract single time rates. (b) Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, appropriate Employees shall assist in the tidying up of their own work site or area if it is so affected. Where required, appropriate Employees will be provided with the appropriate PPE. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected. (c) To avoid any confusion any ‘dewatering’ time which prevents an Employee from being engaged in their normal productive work is not included in any calculation for the purposes of determining whether an Employee is entitled to go home due to wet weather (refer clauses 32.4 and 32.5)

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If ECI chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, ECI’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by ECI to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 ECI shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from ECI’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office ECI utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow ECI’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.

  • Pipelines Developer shall have no interest in the pipeline gathering system, which gathering system shall remain the sole property of Operator or its Affiliates and shall be maintained at their sole cost and expense.

  • Sidewalks doorways, vestibules, halls, stairways and other similar areas shall not be obstructed by Tenant or used by Tenant for any purpose other than ingress and egress to and from the Premises. No rubbish, litter, trash, or material shall be placed, emptied, or thrown in those areas. At no time shall Tenant permit Tenant’s employees to loiter in Common Areas or elsewhere about the Building or Property.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Freedom has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Freedom. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Freedom (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit. Therefore, non- designed Loops such as the SL1 voice grade and UCL-ND may not be ordered in these cases. 2.6.3 If no alternate facility is available, and upon request from Freedom, and if agreed to by both Parties, BellSouth may utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision facilities. Freedom will then have the option of paying the one-time SC rates to place the Loop.
