Scholarship Materials definition

Scholarship Materials means Works created by Faculty that are the result of scholarship or research conducted in connection with their employment by the College. Scholarship Materials include, but are not limited to, research articles, scholarly publications, journal articles, grant proposals and reports to external funders, creative books, textbooks, theses, dissertations, blog posts, plays, stories, poems, musical works, choreography works, films, paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. Scholarship Materials expressly excludes Course Materials and Administrative Materials.
Scholarship Materials means Works created by Faculty, Non-Faculty Employees, or Students that are the result of scholarship or research created in connection with their employment by or enrollment in the Colleges. Scholarship Materials typically includes, but is not limited to, research articles, scholarly publications, journal articles, creative books, textbooks, theses, dissertations, blog posts, plays, stories, poems, musical works, choreography works, films, paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. Scholarship Materials expressly includes Works created by Students through curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities and expressly excludes Administrative Materials and Teaching Materials.
Scholarship Materials means Works created by Faculty that are the result of scholarship or research created in connection with their employment by the College. ScholarshipMaterials typically includes, but is not limited to, research articles, scholarly publications, journal articles, creative books, textbooks, theses, dissertations, blog posts, plays, stories, poems, musical works, choreography works, films, paintings, sculptures, and other works of art.Scholarship Materials expressly excludes Course Materials and Administrative Materials. “Student” means any individual enrolled in a class or classes at the College.

Examples of Scholarship Materials in a sentence

  • In the case of Scholarship Materials jointly created by the Faculty Member and Staff and/or Students, ownership of such Works shall be determined under the United States federal copyright law.

  • Except as provided in Section V(1)(b), the Faculty member who creates Course Materials and Scholarship Materials, if created solely by the Faculty member, owns the Copyright in such Works.

  • The Faculty, Non-Faculty Employee, or Student who created Scholarship Materials and Teaching Materials owns the Copyright in such Works.

  • Each Faculty person hereby grants to the College a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, display, and create derivatives of Scholarship Materials for the limited purpose of advertising, promotion, and/or marketing of the College.

  • The Member who created Scholarship Materials and Instructional Materials owns the Copyright to such Materials.

  • Each Faculty member hereby grants to the College a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, display, and create derivatives of Course Materials and Scholarship Materials for the purposes of assessment of student learning, assessment of Faculty performance, and advertising, promotion, and/or marketing of the College.

  • Each Faculty person hereby grants to the College and Faculty a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, display, and create derivatives of Course Materials and Scholarship Materials for the limited purposes of assessment of teaching and learning and assessment of Faculty at the time of review.

Related to Scholarship Materials

  • Training Materials means any and all materials, documentation, notebooks, forms, diagrams, manuals and other written materials and tangible objects, describing how to maintain the Facilities, including any corrections, improvements and enhancements thereto to the Bloom Systems which are delivered by Operator to Owner, but excluding any data and reports delivered to Owner.

  • Cloud Materials means any materials provided or developed by SAP (independently or with Provider’s cooperation) in the course of performance under the Agreement, including in the delivery of any support or Consulting Services to Provider or its Customers. Cloud Materials do not include any Customer Data, Provider Confidential Information, or the SAP Cloud Service.

  • SAP Materials means any materials (including statistical reports) provided, developed or made available by SAP (independently or with Customer’s cooperation) in the course of performance under the Agreement, including in the delivery of any support or Professional Services to Customer. SAP Materials do not include the Customer Data, Customer Confidential Information or the Cloud Service. SAP Materials may also be referred to in the Agreement as “Cloud Materials”.

  • Standard Materials means all Materials not specified as Custom Materials.

  • IP Materials has the meaning given to it in clause E8.1 (Intellectual Property Rights).

  • Goods/Materials means any of the articles, materials, machinery, equipments, supplies, drawing, data and other property and all services including but not limited to design, delivery, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning specified or required to complete the order.

  • Program Materials means the documents and information provided by the Program Administrator specifying the qualifying EEMs, technology requirements, costs and other Program requirements, which include, without limitation, program guidelines and requirements, application forms and approval letters.

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Technology means all Software, content, websites, technical data, subroutines, tools, materials, invention disclosures, improvements, apparatus, creations, works of authorship and other similar materials, and all recordings, graphs, drawings, reports, analyses, documentation, user manuals and other writings, and other tangible embodiments of the foregoing, in any form whether or not specifically listed herein.

  • Devices means any and all devices owned or purchased from time to time by Party A and utilized for the purposes of the provision of the Services.

  • Tool means the tool developed in accordance with Section 35A-15-303.

  • SAP Technology Solution(s means SAP NetWeaver Foundation for Third Party Applications, SAP Business Technology Platform (excluding when used solely as a Connectivity App between an SAP Application and ERP), SAP Signavio Solutions and SAP Process Insights (including any renamed, prior and/or successor versions of any of the foregoing made generally available by SAP if any but excluding when any of the foregoing are used as a User Interface for ERP.

  • Developed Materials means Materials created, made, or developed by Contractor or Subcontractors, either solely or jointly with the Judicial Branch Entities or JBE Contractors, in the course of providing the Work under this Agreement, and all Intellectual Property Rights therein and thereto, including, without limitation, (i) all work-in-process, data or information, (ii) all modifications, enhancements and derivative works made to Contractor Materials, and (iii) all Deliverables; provided, however, that Developed Materials do not include Contractor Materials.

  • aeroplane means a power-driven heavier-than-air aircraft, deriving its lift in flight chiefly from aerodynamic reactions on surfaces which remain fixed under given conditions of flight;

  • Promotional Materials means all sales representative training materials and all written, printed, graphic, electronic, audio or video matter, including, without limitation, journal advertisements, sales visual aids, formulary binders, reprints, direct mail, direct-to-consumer advertising, internet postings and sites and broadcast advertisements intended for use or used by either Party or its Affiliates or sublicensees in connection with any promotion of a Product.

  • Marketing Materials has the meaning ascribed thereto in NI 41-101;

  • Software means (a) all computer programs, including source code and object code versions, (b) all data, databases and compilations of data, whether machine readable or otherwise, and (c) all documentation, training materials and configurations related to any of the foregoing.

  • Licensed behavior analyst means a person who holds current certification or meets the standards to be certified as a board certified Behavior Analyst or a board certified Assistant Behavior Analyst issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc., or any successor in interest to that organization and whom the Board of Psychological Examiners licenses as a Behavior Analyst.

  • Licensed Materials means any materials that Executive utilizes for the benefit of the Company (or any Subsidiary thereof), or delivers to the Company or the Company’s Customers, which (a) do not constitute Work Product, (b) are created by Executive or of which Executive is otherwise in lawful possession and (c) Executive may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company’s Customers.

  • Information Technology Systems means all information technology systems, Software, computers, workstations, databases, routers, hubs, switches, networks and other information technology equipment used or held for use in, or otherwise relating to, the Business.

  • Dell means Dell Inc., a Delaware corporation.

  • Samples mean representative physical examples of materials, equipment or workmanship, used to confirm compliance with requirements and/or to establish standards for use in execution of the Work.

  • Packaging Materials means art and mechanical formats for a Software Title including the retail packaging, end user instruction manual with end user license agreement and warranties, end user warnings, FPU media label, and any promotional inserts and other materials that are to be included in the retail packaging.

  • Manufacturing Materials means parts, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, plans, drawings, and information produced or acquired, or rights acquired, specifically to fulfill obligations set forth herein.

  • APIs means SAP application programming interface and accompanying or related Documentation, source code, tools, executable applications, libraries, subroutines, widgets and other materials made available by SAP or through SAP tools or SAP Software Development Kit (and all derivative works or modifications thereof) to Provider that allow Provider to integrate the Provider Service with the Cloud Service, including any access code, authentication keys or similar mechanisms to enable access of the APIs.
