Software Patch definition

Software Patch refers to software that corrects or removes a reproducible anomaly or "bug" in an existing Major Release.
Software Patch means a piece of software designed to update a computer program or its supporting data, to fix or improve it. This includes fixing security vulnerabilities and other bugs, with such patches usually called bug fixes, and improving the usability or performance; Specification means the written technical description for the Services and Deliverables as set out in a Statement of Work and/or applicable Schedule; Standard Industry Practice means the degree of skill, diligence, prudence and foresight which would reasonably and ordinarily be expected from a skilled and experienced supplier or operator engaged in a similar undertaking to the Company under the same or similar circumstances; Statement(s) Of Work means the document setting out and specifying in an applicable Schedule, the details of the particular Services (and where applicable any software and/or hardware) to be supplied under this Agreement; Company Rights means all Intellectual Property Rights accrued, vested in or controlled by Company as at the Effective Date and the Commencement Date and any new Intellectual Property Rights that arise in any Services, Deliverable and / or Output Materials, including for the avoidance of doubt the Intellectual Property Rights in any material licensed to Company by a third party;
Software Patch refers to executable software created and made available to correct an Error or malfunction identified in a specific version of software.
