VOD Service definition

VOD Service means any service via which any or all of the VOD Rights in the Broadcast Programme(s) are exploited. Shall mean a picture that reproduces and uses an image from the Programme(s) as a background on a Portable Terminal.
VOD Service means the US VOD Service and the Canadian VOD
VOD Service means individually and collectively the residential Video-On-Demand programming service offered as part of the service currently known as YouTube that at all times during the Term is (i) except with prior written approval from Licensor, branded as “YouTube”, “Google”, “Android”, or any other Licensee wholly-owned brand and not co-branded with the marks of any third party; and (ii) wholly owned, controlled and operated by Licensee or such other entity as agreed between the parties in writing. For purposes of clarification, with respect to each Territory, the VOD Service shall mean the version of the VOD Service made commercially available by Licensee in such Territory.”

  • Licensee shall require, within two (2) years of the Watermark Detection Date, that any new devices capable of playing AACS protected Blu-ray discs and capable of receiving and decrypting protected high definition content from the VOD Service that can also receive content from a source other than the VOD Service shall detect and respond to the embedded state and comply with the corresponding playback control rules.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, subject to the foregoing, all Included Programs shall be made available on each platform of the VOD Service.

More Definitions of VOD Service

VOD Service means the VOD programming service that is, and at all times during the Term shall be, branded as “iN Demand”and wholly-owned and operated by Licensee.
VOD Service means the Video-On-Demand programming service that (a) is at all times wholly owned, controlled and operated by Licensee and/or wholly-owned affiliates of Verizon Communications Inc. and (b) is (i) available on an Approved System and currently known as the Verizon FiOS VOD Service, (ii) located at the following uniform resource locator (“URL”)): currently located at xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and branded as the “Verizon Media StoreFlex View” and not co-branded and/or (iii) available through the user interface on Portable Devices with access to Licensee’s proprietary closeda conditional access wireless network and currently branded “Verizon Multi Screen Video (MSV) ServiceFlex View” and not co-branded. The VOD Service shall not display any third party advertisements (other than the promotion of the VOD Service or of programming offered on the VOD Service) on pages and/or screens that include one or more Included Programs without Licensor’s prior written approval.

The VOD Service shall not display any advertisements (other than the promotion of the VOD Service or of programming offered on the VOD Service) on pages and/or screens that include one or more Included Programs without Licensor’s prior written approval.

The VOD Service shall not display any third party advertisements (other than the promotion of the VOD Service or of programming offered on the VOD Service) on pages and/or screens that include one or more Included Programs without Licensor’s prior written approval.
VOD Service means a service of supply of digital content, in particular in the form of an on-demand audiovisual media service, under the name Voyo or any other name specified by the Provider.
VOD Service means the private residential video-on-demand television programming service available solely on an Approved System which is currently known as the Verizon FiOS VOD Service, and is at all times wholly owned and controlled and operated by Licensee and/or wholly-owned affiliates of Verizon Communications Inc. The VOD Service shall not display any advertisements (other than the promotion of the VOD Service or of programming offered on the VOD Service) on pages and/or screens that include one or more Included Programs without Licensor’s prior written approval.
VOD Service means the VOD programming service in the Territory, which is (a) wholly owned, controlled and operated by Licensee or the applicable Authorized Operator set forth on Schedule D, (b) branded “NEON,” “Claro Video” or such other applicable brand name set forth on Schedule D (or, provided that Licensee gives Licensor prior written notice thereof, a successor brand of any of the foregoing), and (c) accessible on (i) an Approved Personal Computer at the URLs set forth in Schedule D, or such additional or subsequent URLs as may be notified by Licensee to Licensor in writing from time-to-time, (ii) an Approved Connected Device (other than an Approved Personal Computer) through an embedded Playback Application, and (iii) an Approved Set-Top Box via an Authorized System. Except as permitted in Section 2.3.4 of Schedule A, the VOD Service shall be non-advertiser supported and may not be sub-distributed, co-branded, syndicated, “white labeled” or “powered” (e.g., “Yahoo! Video powered by Claro Video”).
