VOD Viewing Period definition

VOD Viewing Period means, with respect to each order of a VOD Included Program, the time period (i) commencing at the time a VOD Customer is initially technically enabled to view such VOD Included Program but in no event earlier than its VOD Availability Date, and (ii) ending on the earlier of (a) 24 hours with respect to VOD Included Programs on the US VOD Service (48 hours with respect to VOD Included Programs on the Canadian VOD Service) after the VOD Customer first commences viewing such VOD Included Program and (b) the expiration of the VOD License Period for such VOD Included Program.
VOD Viewing Period means, with respect to each VOD Customer Transaction, the time period (a) commencing at the time the VOD Customer is initially technically enabled to view a VOD Included Program but in no event earlier than its VOD Availability Date, and (b) ending on the earlier of (i) 48 hours after the VOD Customer first commences viewing such VOD Included Program and (ii) the expiration of the VOD License Period for such VOD Included Program.
VOD Viewing Period means “Viewing Period” as defined in the Agreement.

Examples of VOD Viewing Period in a sentence

  • If at any time during the Term, Licensor or any other SPE Entity grants any Other Provider a longer PPV Viewing Period and/or VOD Viewing Period with respect to any Included Program, then Licensor shall notify Licensee in writing thereof and of any terms and conditions contained in the agreement between Licensor or any other SPE Entity and such Other Provider with respect to such Included Program that are directly related to such longer PPV Viewing Period and/or VOD Viewing Period, as applicable.

  • If the Customer elects to Electronically Download the VOD Program, the Customer shall be permitted to Electronically Download the VOD Program to any and all of such Customer’s Domain Devices via the Approved Digital Delivery Means, and shall be authorized to view such VOD Program on each such Domain Device an unlimited number of times solely within the VOD Viewing Period, subject to the Retention Restriction.

  • The PPV or VOD Viewing Period, as applicable, with respect to each Subscriber Transaction for an Early Window Title shall commence when the consumer first commences viewing the Early Window Title, but no earlier than the Early Window Availability Date for such title, and shall end, subject to Section 2.13.2 of this Amendment #2, no later than the earlier of (a) 48 hours thereafter and (b) the expiration of the Early Window License Period for such title.

  • If a Customer Electronically Downloads a VOD Program from the Licensed Digital Service to a Set-Top Box enabled with Nomad Functionality (as defined below), such VOD Program may be Side Loaded (as defined below) to a maximum of five (5) Domain Devices registered to the Customer’s Account, and the Customer shall be authorized to view such VOD Program on each such Domain Device an unlimited number of times solely within the VOD Viewing Period, subject to the Retention Restriction.

  • VOD Included Programs may be viewed during the VOD Viewing Period only.


More Definitions of VOD Viewing Period

VOD Viewing Period means, with respect to each Subscriber VOD Transaction, the time period (a) commencing at the time the Subscriber is initially technically enabled to view a Included Program but in no event earlier than its VOD Availability Date, and (b) ending on the earliest of: (i) either 48 hours or 72 hours (corresponding to the applicable Deemed Price specified in section 8.1 below) after the Subscriber first commences viewing such Included Program, (ii) 30 days after the time the Subscriber is initially technically enabled to view such Included Program, and (iii) the expiration of the VOD License Period for such Included Program. Each of the above definitions of Basic Television, Free Television, Pay-Per-View, Sell-Through Video Downloading, Subscription Pay Television, Subscription Video-On-Demand and Video-On-Demand is mutually exclusive, and exclusive of free-on-demand, advertising supported video-on-demand, Home Theater, manufacture-on-demand or retail location-based download-on-demand (including, without limitation, via kiosks, servers, the Internet and all on-premises and remote delivery), and home video.

VOD Viewing Period means, with respect to each VOD Customer Transaction, the time period (a) commencing at the time the VOD Customer is initially technically enabled to view a VOD Included Program on any Approved Device but in no event earlier than its VOD Availability Date, and (b) ending on the earliest of (i) up to 48 hours after the VOD Customer first commences viewing such VOD Included Program, (ii) 30 days after the time the VOD Customer is initially technically enabled to view such VOD Included Program, and (iii) the expiration of the VOD License Period for such VOD Included Program; provided, however, that if Licensor grants a longer viewing period to any Other VOD Distributor during the Term, Licensor shall grant such longer viewing period to Licensee so long as Licensee agrees to any additional or different terms and conditions directly related to such longer viewing period that are agreed to by such Other VOD Distributor and required by Licensor. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Licensor shall not be required to make available to Licensee any longer viewing period made available to any Other VOD Distributor as part of a Test.
VOD Viewing Period means, with respect to each order of a VOD Included Program, the time period (i) commencing at the time a VOD Customer is initially technically enabled to view such VOD Included Program but in no event earlier than its VOD Availability Date, and (ii) ending on the earliest of (a) twenty-four (24) hours after the VOD Customer first commences playback of such VOD Included Program, (b) the date on which Licensee permanently disables the VOD Customer’s access to such VOD Included Program, which in no event shall be later than thirty (30) days after the applicable VOD Customer Transaction and (c) the expiration of the VOD License Period for such VOD Included Program; provided that a single Video-On- Demand exhibition that commences during a VOD Included Program’s VOD Viewing Period may play-off for the uninterrupted duration of such VOD Included Program.
