However, if an Authorized Device is lost or stolen, Institution can use the MDM solution to put the device in Lost Mode so that the device will be locked, the End User will be logged out, and a report will be automatically transmitted to the MDM Server. Institution can also erase the device remotely and enable Activation Lock to help ensure that the device cannot be reactivated without the proper Managed Apple ID and password. Apple shall bear no responsibility for Your failure to protect Authorized Devices with a passcode, Your failure to enable Lost Mode, and/or Your failure to receive or respond to notices and communications. Apple shall also bear no responsibility for returning lost or stolen devices to You or for any resulting loss of data. Apple is not responsible for any replacement of devices that have the Activation Lock feature enabled, or any warranty claims on such devices. You may remove the Activation Lock feature and disable Lost Mode through MDM.
