Acting Operator/Driver. Compensation shall be paid at 1.4 hours of the employee’s regular rate of pay for each 24 hour period that individual is assigned to drive. Effective October 1, 2017 firefighters assigned to work out of grade as a Fire Apparatus Operator will be paid an additional 5.85% of the firefighter’s base rate as shown on the salary schedule for actual hours assigned and worked out of grade. Assignments shall be made first from the current Fire Apparatus Operator eligibility list from personnel on duty, then as assigned by the Fire Chief or his/her designee. An employee who has worked in the classification for an extended period of time shall return to his/her own classification at the rate he/she would have received as if he/she had never left it.

Seniority for purposes of Section 10.13 of this Memorandum of Understanding shall be defined as follows. For Acting Captain and/or acting FAO, seniority is the length of time of service with the St. Cloud Fire Department.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.
