Active Employees Active Employees who have not terminated service during the Plan Year and who meet the following requirements (select all that apply; leave blank if no exclusions):

b. [ ] The value of the sick and/or vacation leave must be at least $ (e.g., $2,000)
c. [ ] A contribution will only be made if the total hours is over (e.g., 10) hours

Part-Time Employees Employees who are scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per workweek.
Rehired Employees Amounts forfeited upon termination of employment because of the failure to meet the applicable vesting requirements shall not be reinstated or re-credited if an individual is subsequently rehired or re-employed by the School Corporation. However, if the board shall have approved a leave of absence of not more than one (1) fiscal year for an employee, such period of leave shall not result in forfeiture provided the employee shall promptly return to employment following the expiration of the period of leave.
Part-Time Employment Monthly compensation for part-time employment will be pro-rated based on the ratio of hours worked to hours required for full-time employment. In the alternative, part-time employees may be paid the appropriate hourly rate for all hours worked.
Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime. PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.
Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.
Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.
TIME EMPLOYEES Part-time employee means an employee whose weekly scheduled hours of work on average are less than those established in Article 25 but not less than those prescribed in the Public Service Labour Relations Act.
