Active Payroll vs Sample Clauses
Active Payroll vs. Inactive payroll. An employee who coord inates s ick leave/ time away hours with disability benefits on a 40%/60% basis will be considered to b e on the “active payroll”. An employee must make the election to coordinate, if that is his/her desire, beginning the first week of absence from work. The employ ees must supplement a minimum of two (2) working days per workweek of absence from work. An employee who either elects not to coordinate sick leave/ time away hours with disability benefits on a 40%/60% basis, or lacks a sufficient balance of sick leave/time away hours to coordinate to be “inactive" af ter thirty (30) days unpaid status. Employees on the Active Payroll will continue to accrue sick leave.
