Common use of Actual Service Clause in Contracts

Actual Service. To determine the year in which a limited contract expires for the purpose of evaluating members of the bargaining unit as required by Section 3319.111 of the Revised Code, and for the determination of salary specified in part D above actual service of ninety-two (92) or more days in a school year in which a member was placed on an unpaid leave of absence shall be counted as a year in the term of such member’s limited contract and shall entitle the member to an additional experience increment on the salary schedule. Actual service shall include all days for which the member was paid.
