Additional Leave. (a) On-call (i) A practitioner can accrue up to a maximum of 40 hours of additional annual leave. (ii) For each completed period of 120 hours rostered on-call a practitioner shall accrue 8 hours additional annual leave. (b) Working Sundays and/or Public Holidays (i) A practitioner can accrue up to a maximum of 40 hours of additional annual leave. (ii) Practitioners who are rostered to work their ordinary hours on Sundays and/or public holidays during a qualifying period of employment for annual leave shall be entitled to receive an additional 8 hours leave for each seven ordinary shifts so worked. (c) The maximum amount of additional leave that can be accrued under this clause is 40 additional hours leave during a qualifying period of employment.
