Additional Work and Compensation i. Except for the provision allowing the District to request Consultant perform additional counseling work requested in accordance with the Scope of Work (Exhibit A) above, the Parties agree that work performed during the term of this Agreement shall be deemed to be performed under the provisions of this Agreement and shall not entitle Consultant to any additional compensation. If, during the term of this Agreement, District desires to retain Consultant to perform work or services determined by the Parties to be new work or services not covered by this Agreement, then a separate written Agreement for the new work or services must be executed between the parties prior to performance of the new work or services. Additional Work and Compensation. Any additional services approved and performed pursuant to this Agreement shall be designated as “Additional Services” and shall identify the number of the authorized change order, where applicable, on all invoices. If changes in the work seem merited by Consultant or the District, and informal consultations with the other Party indicate that a change is warranted, it shall be processed in the following manner: a letter outlining the changes shall be forwarded to the District by Consultant with a statement of estimated changes in fee or time schedule. An amendment to this Agreement shall be prepared by the District and executed by both Parties before performance of such services, or the District will not be required to pay for the changes in the scope of work. Such amendment shall not render ineffective or invalidate unaffected portions of this Agreement.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.

  • Callout Compensation A regular employee who is called back to work outside their regular working hours shall be compensated for a minimum of three hours at overtime rates. They shall be compensated from the time they leave their home to report for duty until the time they arrive back upon proceeding directly to and from work.

  • Overload Compensation ‌ An instructional faculty member may be given overload compensation for additional instructional responsibilities beyond the normal work day or work year. The conditions and compensation of all overload duties shall be established prior to the beginning of additional instructional work. The rate of compensation shall be paid on a prorated salary basis. When calculating the prorated hourly salary under this section, the academic year salary shall be divided by 1344 hours. Faculty members have the option of refusing additional work assignments: when this occurs the rate of compensation will be agreed upon between the employer and the faculty member.
