Affiliate appointment. (Effective Fall 2008) Employment offered to a part-time academic employee at Step B for a specified FTEF level within a single department for an academic year, but will be sufficient to ensure benefits eligibility. Selection will be based on a defined process. A maximum number of these appointments will be established annually. Continuation in Affiliate status will be ongoing as long as performance evaluation and professional development standards are met. For employees funded through the state operating budget or through excess enrollment, at least thirty-three (33) additional special assignment hours will be assigned annually for office hours or other duties to be determined by the division administrator in consultation with the faculty member. Affiliate faculty shall have the right to replace a part-time academic employee in the same department with a quarterly appointment if necessary to meet the terms of the affiliate appointment.

Affiliate appointment. Your application to be a iBet Affiliate will be reviewed following submission and You will be notified in a timely manner of Our acceptance or rejection of Your application. If the information provided by You pursuant to Clauses 4.2, 4.12 and 4.13 is deemed insufficient, We reserve the right to withhold pay-out and reject Your application to be a iBet Affiliate. Upon acceptance into the Affiliate Program, You hereby accept the appointment as an Affiliate partner of iBet. For the avoidance of doubt, any auto-approval by Us does not imply that We may not re-evaluate Your application at a later stage. You acknowledge that this Agreement does not grant You an exclusive right or privilege to assist Us in the provision of services arising from Your referrals and that You shall have no claims to any Commission or other compensation on business secured by or through persons or entities other than You.

  • Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Initial Appointment Upon initial appointment, a bargaining unit employee shall be issued a letter of offer, signed by the xxxx/director, citing specific terms and conditions of employment and his or her initial assignment of responsibilities. The University may enclose informational addenda, except that such addenda may not abridge the employee's rights or benefits provided in the BOT-UFF Agreement or BOT- UFF Policies. All academic year appointments for employees at a University shall begin on the same date.   • Hiring and Appointments Section 4.1 as specifically established in Subsections 4.2(A), (E) and (F) applies to part-time hourly appointees.

  • Non-Promotive Appointment 254. An employee or officer who is a permanent appointee following completion of the probationary period or 2,080 hours of permanent service, and who accepts a non-promotive appointment in a classification having the same salary grade, or a lower salary grade, the appointee shall enter the new position at that salary step which is the same as that received in the prior appointment, or if the salary steps do not match, then the salary step which is immediately in excess of that received in the prior appointment, provided that such salary shall not exceed the maximum of the salary grade. Further increments shall be based upon the seniority increment anniversary date in the prior appointment.
