Alternate Work Scheduling Sample Clauses

The Alternate Work Scheduling clause establishes the terms under which employees may work schedules that differ from the standard workweek, such as flexible hours, compressed workweeks, or remote work arrangements. It typically outlines eligibility criteria, approval processes, and any limitations or expectations regarding availability and communication. This clause provides a structured framework for accommodating non-traditional work schedules, helping to balance operational needs with employee flexibility and work-life balance.
Alternate Work Scheduling. The daily overtime provisions may be suspended to accommodate alternative, adjusted, or staggered work schedules permitted by this Agreement. For employees subject to such work schedules, “work in excess of their regular work day” shall mean work in excess of the hours prescribed as “regularly scheduled work hours” or “core work hours.”
Alternate Work Scheduling. In the event the Agency implements an alternative regular work schedule for all employees, the Association will re-bid. Re-bids are not subject to grievances with the Agency, however, can be challenged with the Association.
