Advancement for 1213 completion of a master’s degree or a doctor’s degree will be granted in the 1214 month following notification of the completion of the degree requirements. 1215 12.4.2 Class and step changes are granted contingent on satisfactory performance 1217 as evidenced by a current satisfactory evaluation. 1218 1219 12.5 ADVANCEMENT ON THE HOURLY SCHEDULE 1220 12.5.1 For the purposes of hourly compensation, regular and contract unit members 1222 who had been placed on an hourly schedule prior to employment as a regular 1223 or contract unit member will continue to be paid on the hourly schedule until 1224 such time as the overload rate on Schedule A is equal to or greater than the 1225 rate of the hourly schedule. Such members are not eligible to advance on the 1226 hourly schedule. Vertical advancement on the hourly schedules for eligible 1227 unit members occurs when a unit member has: 1228 1229 a. Advanced to a step on the Annual Contract Schedule that is higher 1230 than the current placement on the appropriate hourly schedule, or 1231 1232 b. For the Credit Hourly Schedule B taught at least 150 hours in the 1233 credit program since the initial placement or the last step placement, 1234 or 1235 1236 c. For the Credit Hourly Schedule C (Summer), taught at least 400 hours 1237 in the credit program since initial placement or the last step 1238 placement, or 1239 1240 d. For Noncredit Hourly Schedule D taught at least 400 hours in the 1241 noncredit program since initial placement or the last step placement. 1242

  • Annual Compensation The Executive's "Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the highest level of base salary paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during any of the three calendar years ending during the calendar year in which the Date of Termination occurs.

  • Minimum Salaries 12.1 The minimum base salary for all Bargaining Unit members shall be as follows: 12.2 The minima defined in this Article shall apply to AAUP-represented adjuncts on a pro-rated basis proportional to their percent of full- time.

  • Annual Base Salary During the Term, Executive shall receive a base salary at a rate of $550,000 per annum (as increased from time to time, the “Annual Base Salary”), which shall be paid in accordance with the customary payroll practices of the Company. Such Annual Base Salary shall be reviewed (and may be increased, but not decreased) from time to time by the Board or an authorized committee of the Board.

  • Monthly Salary The words “monthly salary” when used in this Agreement shall mean: (Bi-weekly pay at regular rate of pay times 26.1) divided by 12 = monthly salary

  • Annual Salary Executive's compensation shall consist of an annual base salary (the "Annual Salary") of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), before all customary payroll deductions. The Annual Salary shall be reviewed, and shall be subject to change, by the Board of Directors of Employer (or the Compensation Committee thereof) at least annually while Executive is employed hereunder.

  • Vacation Earnings for Partial Years (1) During the first partial year of service a new employee will earn vacation at the rate of three and two-thirds (32/3) days for each month for which the employee earns ten (10) days pay. (2) Subject to Clause 17.8, any unused vacation earned during the first (1st) partial year will be paid to the employee at December 31st of that year. (b) During the first (1st) and subsequent vacation years an employee will earn one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual entitlement for each month in which the employee has received at least ten (10) days' pay at straight-time rates. Where an employee has taken more vacation than earned, the unearned portion taken shall be charged against future earned credits or recovered upon termination whichever occurs first.

  • Overtime Compensation 1. Except as provided in this section, Grantee will be responsible for any obligations of premium overtime pay due employees. Premium overtime pay is defined as any compensation paid to an individual in addition to the employee’s normal rate of pay for hours worked in excess of normal working hours. 2. Funds provided under this Contract may be used to pay the premium portion of overtime only under the following conditions: i. With the prior written approval of System Agency; ii. Temporarily, in the case of an emergency or an occasional operational bottleneck; iii. When employees are performing indirect functions, such as administration, maintenance, or accounting; iv. In performance of tests, laboratory procedures, or similar operations that are continuous in nature and cannot reasonably be interrupted or otherwise completed; or v. When lower overall cost to System Agency will result.

  • Base Compensation The Bank agrees to pay the Employee during the ----------------- term of this Agreement a salary at the rate of $76,000 per annum, payable in cash not less frequently than monthly; provided, that the rate of such salary shall be reviewed by the Board of Directors of the Bank not less often than annually, and Employee shall be entitled to receive annually an increase at such percentage or in such an amount as the Board of Directors in its sole discretion may decide.

  • Base Salary The Company shall pay to the Executive an annual base salary of $200,000, payable on a monthly basis commencing on the Effective Date (as the same may be adjusted herein, the “Base Salary”). The Base Salary shall be paid in accordance with the Company’s payroll policies.

  • Salary No salary will be paid to a Member for the performance of his or her duties under this Agreement unless the salary has been approved in writing by a Majority of the Members.
