Annual progression. (a) Except as otherwise provided, progression from one step to a higher step shall be by annual increment for a full-time employee. Annual progression. 5.4.1 Progression from one salary step to the next salary step by annual increment will be subject to satisfactory performance. 5.4.2 Employees who are subject to a Managing Unsatisfactory Performance (Stage 2 or beyond) process at the time of their annual increment will not be entitled to progress to the higher increment. 5.4.3 Should an employee who was previously subject to a Stage 2 or beyond Managing Unsatisfactory Performance process be subsequently found to be performing satisfactorily, they will be entitled to progress by annual increment from the date on which they are deemed to be performing satisfactorily and each anniversary of the date on which they are deemed to be performing satisfactorily thereafter (subject to continued satisfactory performance).

  • Progression Progression step increases may be granted for employees with progression dates if they are eligible for progression steps according to the provisions of this section. All step increases authorized by this Section shall be granted on a semi-annual or annual basis based on satisfactory performance. Step increases shall be effective at the beginning of the pay period nearest to the employee’s progression date, as defined below. Individual progression dates for those employed prior to July 1, 2007 shall be as determined on July 1, 2007 pursuant to the provisions of the 2007-2009 Collective Bargaining Agreement.   • Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards. 2. When setting performance expectations and development objective(s) with individual teachers for the coming year, the appropriate professional standards against which the teacher is to be assessed should be confirmed between the teacher and the employer. 3. For each teacher to progress annually to their next salary step they will need to demonstrate that they meet the appropriate professional standards.

  • Wage Progression (a) Employees within their position classification will progress from the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on, on the basis of eighteen hundred (1800) hours paid by the Employer at the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on. Hours for which the employee receives WSIB as a result of a work related injury while in the employ of the Employer shall be considered hours paid for the purposes of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within their position classification.
