SALARY RATES Section 12.1 The following shall apply to full-time employees:
Salary Rate The annual salary for regular faculty will be prorated according to the established workload for the academic year.
Protected Salary Rates A. The Employer shall continue the current salary rate protection program for the duration of this Agreement.
Salary Scales 1. In the settlement of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement 2000-2002 the parties committed themselves to the implementation of pay parity for kindergarten teachers. Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.
Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.
Application of Salary Rates The Employer shall continue the current application of salary rates for the duration of this Agreement.
Salary Ranges A. The salary ranges for classifications covered by this Agreement shall be those contained in Appendix D.
Starting Salary All bargaining-unit positions will be hired at a starting salary commensurate with their experience. It is expected that those salaries will typically be within 20% of employees within that unit at a similar rank and/or experience level. In exceptional cases, bargaining-unit positions may be hired at a salary above that range contingent on extraordinary experience and extramural funding.
Basic Salary Schedule The salaries of the members of the facilities and maintenance bargaining unit are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and made part of this Agreement.
Salary Range At the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, the salaries of returning full time teachers were between $45,000-$95,100 prior to any increases negotiated in this agreement. After ratification, full-time teachers will be making $45,500-$97,725.73 for the 2023-2024 school year.
