Common use of Association Days Clause in Contracts

Association Days. At the beginning of the school year, the Association shall be credited with five (5) days to be used at the discretion of the Association. The Association agrees to notify the Board no less than forty-eight

Association Days. At the beginning of the each school year, the Association shall be credited with five eight (5) days to be used at the discretion of 8) Association days, for use by teachers who are designated by the Association, for Association business involving the representation of employees covered by this Agreement. The Association agrees to shall notify the Board no less than Superintendent at least forty-eighteight (48) hours in advance of taking such a day. Unused Association days shall not accumulate from year to year. No one (1) teacher shall use more than three (3) days per school year.

No more than two (2) teachers may be off on any given day under this provision.
