In accordance with SB 241 from the 2015 Legislative Session, the full cost of the leave time granted to the Association’s representatives herein has been offset by the value of concessions made by the Association. Specifically, the Birthday Holiday that employees represented by the Association were entitled to in prior Collective Bargaining Agreements was reduced to a Birthday Partial Holiday as specified in Article 9(H). The Association also contends that it has provided the City with past concessions to pay for the cost of the leave time granted to the Association’s representatives but the City disputes this contention.
