Augmenting skills and expertise. Developing and training existing staff will be a key feature of the CVSSS, but it is recognised that the implementation phase will require significant new skills and expertise in Shared Services and successful, large scale change management. While the participating Councils do have highly skilled and experienced staff in change management, these are in short supply and very heavily utilised within existing change and transformation programmes. There is therefore insufficient spare capacity within these existing change teams to absorb the significant additional work associated with the CVSSS proposals. In addition, the experience of Council staff in relation to the specific implementation of large, complex, multi-Council Shared Services, is limited. If the risks associated with the programme referred to in Section 10 are to be effectively managed, it is crucial that the Councils augment their existing resources with the necessary additional capacity, skills and specific expertise from the best external sources available. The recruitment of the new management team for the Shared Service would be the first component of this. They would then be required to review the existing skills bases and gaps within the participating Councils and identify the most appropriate way of drawing in the additional external skills and expertise necessary to ensure the success of the project.

  • Specialized Skills Each certificated support person demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of skill and knowledge in designing and conducting specialized programs of prevention, instruction, remediation and evaluation.

  • Experience A minimum of 1 year of IT work experience in computer systems or support with demonstrated working knowledge of basic hardware and software products and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

  • Evaluator Any person designated by a superintendent who has primary or supervisory responsibility for observation and evaluation. The superintendent is responsible for ensuring that all Evaluators have training in the principles of supervision and evaluation. Each Educator will have one primary Evaluator at any one time responsible for determining performance ratings. i) Primary Evaluator shall be the person who determines the Educator’s performance ratings and evaluation. ii) Supervising Evaluator shall be the person responsible for developing the Educator Plan, supervising the Educator’s progress through formative assessments, evaluating the Educator’s progress toward attaining the Educator Plan goals, and making recommendations about the evaluation ratings to the primary Evaluator at the end of the Educator Plan. The Supervising Evaluator may be the primary Evaluator or his/her designee.

  • Services and Information for Persons with Limited English Proficiency A. Grantee shall take reasonable steps to provide services and information both orally and in writing, in appropriate languages other than English, to ensure that persons with limited English proficiency are effectively informed and can have meaningful access to programs, benefits and activities. Grantee shall identify and document on the client records the primary language/dialect of a client who has limited English proficiency and the need for translation or interpretation services and shall not require a client to provide or pay for the services of a translator or interpreter. C. Grantee shall make every effort to avoid use of any persons under the age of 18 or any family member or friend of the client as an interpreter for essential communications with a client with limited English proficiency, unless the client has requested that person and using the person would not compromise the effectiveness of services or violate the client’s confidentiality and the client is advised that a free interpreter is available.

  • Bachelor’s Degree A four-year baccalaureate degree is recommended; however, applicants who complete a minimum of 90 semester or 135 quarter units of undergraduate study will qualify for admission. To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be on track to complete the required units through the summer term that precedes fall matriculation.
