I agree that my child can use the school/college and Trust’s ICT systems and internet when appropriately supervised by a member of staff. I agree to the conditions set out above for pupils/students using the ICT systems and internet, and for using personal electronic devices in school/college, and will make sure my child understands these. I am happy for my son/daughter to have access to the internet including YouTube (where appropriate for their education) and accept that while every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, it is not possible to filter every web site that may be inappropriate. I give my child permission to have access to the email system and to be provided with an email address when required to support their study. Parents/Carers must refrain from publishing a statement(s) on social media which lowers the estimation of others of Trust/School/UTC/Staff which causes serious harm. If any such statement is made on social media, the Trust/School/UTC/Staff may have a claim for defamation against the parent/carer who has published the defamatory statement. Behaviour and Discipline Policy. Morula school is a small ‘family’ community where indiscipline is mostly unheard of and where there is a tradition of good behaviour, respect for each other and where Education is respected in all it’s forms. Having said this, Xxxxxx is a zero tolerance school regarding violence, racism, intimidation, dishonesty and any other action that negatively affects the learning process and/or the physical and psychological well-being of students. In instances of negative behaviour, we are proactive in assisting students to find ways of preventing such contraventions from occurring again. We have various strategies, not limited to: Exoneration, Counselling, Parent intervention, Professional interventions We expect, and strive to model, appropriate behaviour. We also believe that behaviour and discipline represent an integral part of the learning process even though we expect our students to conform to good and acceptable behaviour, we do realise that at one point, they might make a mistake. In such cases, we will implement the principles guiding student rights and responsibilities and our process of correcting behaviour. We commit to treating all students with respect throughout the entire process and in a manner that helps them realise that they are responsible for their actions and to accept the consequences. Our objective is to have the students understand that at times they can correct mistakes and to emphasize the positive aspects of such modification. The Code of Conduct applies in all circumstances, while students are on campus, in the school bus, on field trips or any other activity organised by the school on or off campus during or after school hours.

  • DISCIPLINE AND DISCHARGE 21.01 The Employer may warn, suspend, demote or discharge employees for just cause. If the conduct or performance of an employee warrants disciplinary action, such action shall be confirmed in writing. A copy of all such documentation shall be provided to the employee(s) involved and forwarded to the office of the Union at the time they are issued.

  • Student Conduct and Discipline The School shall adopt, update, and adhere to written policies concerning standards of student conduct and discipline which shall comply with federal and State laws and which shall incorporate the requirements of Section 5.6. The School shall provide copies to the School's parents and students at the start of each school year and shall make this policy readily accessible from the School’s website or school office, as described in Section 11.4.1. If the policy is not available from the School’s website, the School shall submit the current policy to the Commission.
