Common use of Benefits on Layoff Clause in Contracts

Benefits on Layoff. Effective for employees whose actual lay-off date is April 1, 2000 or after, such employees are entitled to the Extended Health and Dental benefits. Employees will be able to buy those benefits at 100% employee cost. The employee will be responsible for making appropriate arrangements with the Hospital for payment of both the employer and employee portions of the premium costs.
