Benefits Representative. (i) The Company will recognize a full-time Benefits Representative who must be an employee of the Company and who shall be elected by the Local membership to assist the Plant Chairperson. (ii) The Plant Chairperson shall advise the Manager of Labour Relations in writing of the name of the appointed Benefits Representative. No representative shall function as such until the Company has been so advised. (iii) The Benefits Representative shall be allowed free access to and from the Company's operations in the performance of his duties. He will be provided with a desk, telephone, and a chair near the Plant Chairperson's office. (iv) The Benefits Representative shall be responsible for handling any matters pertaining to benefits that may be in dispute and subject to the grievance procedure, including: the Insurance Program; the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan; the Separation 411 412 413 414 415 416 Payment Plan; and the Automatic Short Week Benefit Plan. It is understood and agreed that these matters will not be processed through Stage One or Stage Two of the grievance procedure. (v) The Benefits Representative shall also be responsible for handling any matters pertaining to the Retirement Pension Plan, which will include joint Pre-Retirement Counseling with Company representatives. (vi) The Benefits Representative shall report to an Employee's supervisor, provided the supervisor is in the department, before contacting such Employee in pursuance of his duties. (vii) The Benefits Representative shall receive the rate of pay equal to the rate for the job classification which he held upon appointment as the Benefits Representative and will be paid the equivalent of forty (40) hours per week at straight time. He shall be responsible to the Company representative responsible for the Benefits function. (viii) When the Benefits Representative ceases to hold office, he shall be returned, consistent with his seniority, to the classification and to the department in which he was employed at the time of his appointment as Benefits Representative, or to a job classification embracing comparable job duties to that which he held prior to his appointment.

Benefits Representative. The Financial Secretary/Treasurer shall be recognized as the Benefit representative for all Bargaining Unit employees. The Company shall not be required to pay for time used to resolve benefit problems.

  • Consultant’s Representative Consultant hereby designates XXXXXX, or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“Consultant’s Representative”). Consultant’s Representative shall have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Consultant for all purposes under this Agreement. The Consultant’s Representative shall supervise and direct the Services, using their best skill and attention, and shall be responsible for all means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures and for the satisfactory coordination of all portions of the Services under this Agreement.

  • City’s Representative The City hereby designates Xxx Xxxxx, or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“City’s Representative”). City’s Representative shall have the power to act on behalf of the City for all purposes under this Contract. Consultant shall not accept direction or orders from any person other than the City’s Representative or his or her designee.

  • EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES The Union may, by written notice to the Director or Human Resources and the Director of Health and Human Services, designate members as shop stewards. Shop stewards shall be permitted reasonable time for Union activities. Total employee time in all the union bargaining units spent on Union business during each week shall not exceed twenty-eight (28) hours, and no individual employee shall spend more than four (4) hours of County time on Union business exclusive of the Safety Committee. Union activity shall be defined as participating in resolution of contract disputes during the life of the Agreement and the adjustment of grievances of employees in the bargaining unit, subject to the limitations set forth in this Agreement. These permitted activities performed during the normal employee duty time of such designated shop stewards shall fall within one of the following categories: 1. Discuss with an employee a grievance or complaint. 2. Make inquiries in order to obtain relevant information related to a grievance, including discussions with supervisors, other employees or other management officials. 3. Assist employees in preparation for, or represent employees in, the appeal and review steps of the grievance procedure or in arbitration. 4. Participate in discussions or meetings with supervisors, other management officials, or other involved parties, e.g., the Union, regarding grievances and such other issues directly related to wages, hours or working conditions, and mutually agreed-upon matters. 5. Prepare for scheduled meetings between the County and the Union When any shop xxxxxxx is conducting business as defined above, the xxxxxxx will request the permission of his/her immediate supervisor in reasonable advance of any meeting, advising the supervisor of his/her destination and when he/she expects to return. Upon returning to his/her duty station, the shop xxxxxxx will notify his/her supervisor. Upon arriving at the workplace of an employee to be represented, the shop xxxxxxx shall normally be permitted to contact the employee. The represented employee also shall be required to request permission for time off in reasonable advance of any meeting. To the maximum extent possible, interviews between representatives and the employees will be held away from other employees and away from the public. All union activities shall be conducted in such a manner as not to disrupt departmental business or the activities of the employees involved.

  • Staff Representatives A. The Union will provide the Employer with a written list of staff representatives and the bargaining unit for which they are responsible. The Union will provide written notice to the Employer of any changes within thirty (30) calendar days of the changes. B. Staff representatives may have access to the Employer’s offices or facilities to carry out representational activities. The representatives will notify the Employer prior to their arrival and will not interrupt the normal operations of the Employer. The staff representative may meet with bargaining unit employees in non-work areas during the employee’s meal periods, rest periods, and before and after the employee’s shift. C. The Employer’s written Board of Trustee or administrative policies pertaining to employees represented by the Union will be made available to staff representatives.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Designated Representatives (a) With the delivery of this Agreement, the Subordination Agent shall furnish to each Liquidity Provider and each Trustee, and from time to time thereafter may furnish to each Liquidity Provider and each Trustee, at the Subordination Agent’s discretion, or upon any Liquidity Provider’s or any Trustee’s request (which request shall not be made more than one time in any 12-month period), a certificate (a “Subordination Agent Incumbency Certificate”) of a Responsible Officer of the Subordination Agent certifying as to the incumbency and specimen signatures of the officers of the Subordination Agent and the attorney-in-fact and agents of the Subordination Agent (the “Subordination Agent Representatives”) authorized to give Written Notices on behalf of the Subordination Agent hereunder. Until each Liquidity Provider and each Trustee receives a subsequent Subordination Agent Incumbency Certificate, it shall be entitled to rely on the last Subordination Agent Incumbency Certificate delivered to it hereunder. (b) With the delivery of this Agreement, each Trustee shall furnish to the Subordination Agent, and from time to time thereafter may furnish to the Subordination Agent, at such Trustee’s discretion, or upon the Subordination Agent’s request (which request shall not be made more than one time in any 12-month period), a certificate (a “Trustee Incumbency Certificate”) of a Responsible Officer of such Trustee certifying as to the incumbency and specimen signatures of the officers of such Trustee and the attorney-in-fact and agents of such Trustee (the “Trustee Representatives”) authorized to give Written Notices on behalf of such Trustee hereunder. Until the Subordination Agent receives a subsequent Trustee Incumbency Certificate, it shall be entitled to rely on the last Trustee Incumbency Certificate delivered to it hereunder. (c) With the delivery of this Agreement, each Liquidity Provider shall furnish to the Subordination Agent, and from time to time thereafter may furnish to the Subordination Agent, at such Liquidity Provider’s discretion, or upon the Subordination Agent’s request (which request shall not be made more than one time in any 12-month period), a certificate (each, a “Provider Incumbency Certificate”) of any Responsible Officer of such Liquidity Provider certifying as to the incumbency and specimen signatures of any officer, attorney-in-fact, agent or other designated representative of such Liquidity Provider (in each case, the “Provider Representatives” and, together with the Subordination Agent Representatives and the Trustee Representatives, the “Designated Representatives”) authorized to give Written Notices on behalf of such Liquidity Provider hereunder. Until the Subordination Agent receives a subsequent Provider Incumbency Certificate, it shall be entitled to rely on the last Provider Incumbency Certificate delivered to it hereunder by the relevant Liquidity Provider.

  • Employee Representative The employee may choose someone to represent him or her at any step in the procedure. No person hearing a grievance need recognize more than one representative for any employee at any one time, unless he or she so desires.

Carrying out of: (a) a feasibility study aimed at assessing, costing and testing the options to maximize benefits to be derived from the use of treated wastewater produced from the Greater Tunis area and transferred to rural areas; and (b) an assessment of degraded lands susceptible to being improved through the use of treated wastewater for agricultural purposes, and for adapting and mitigating the impact of climate change. 2. Development of pilot schemes to demonstrate the value and benefits to be derived from the use of treated wastewater to preserve and intensify agricultural production systems on degraded lands. Part C: Institutional Strengthening and Sensitization to Environmental Issues and IPA Methodology 1. Strengthening the capacity of institutions involved in implementation of the Project at the national, regional and local levels including RCADs and ADGs through the provision of logistical support, technical advisory services and adequate training programs. 2. Strengthening the CCU’s capacity to manage the Project efficiently including ensuring adequate monitoring and evaluation, and compliance with all safeguard measures related to implementation of the environment and social protection framework. 3. Development and execution of a communication and sensitization action plan aimed at raising awareness on environmental themes and IPA methodology.

  • Company Representative Whenever under the provisions of this Agreement the approval of Company is required or Company is required to take some action at the request of Issuer, such approval shall be made or such action shall be taken by Company Representative and Issuer or Trustee shall be authorized to act on any such approval or action and Company shall have no redress against Issuer or Trustee as a result of any such action taken.
