Bereavement for Summer School Teachers. A total of five school days may be allowed per bereavement of the following: father, mother, spouse, child or common-law spouse. A total of three school days may be allowed per bereavement of the following: brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daugher-in-law, son-in-law, fiancé or other person in loco parentis or any other relative who lived in the home. A total of one (1) school day may be allowed per bereavement to attend the funeral of a grandparent-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew.
