Common use of BEREAVEMENT PAY Clause in Contracts

BEREAVEMENT PAY. In the case of a death in the immediate family of an employee, the Company will grant to the employee, two (2) days' leave of absence with pay at the employee's regular hourly rate of pay. Immediate family shall mean: Spouse, Father, Mother, Legal Guardian, Son, Daughter, Brother and Sister.

In the case of a death in the an employee's immediate family specifically husband, wife or common-law spouse, child, mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law or grandparents, of an employeeeither spouse, the Company will shall grant to the employee, employee two (2) days' leave of compassionate leave-of-absence with pay at the employee's regular hourly rate of full pay. Immediate family shall mean: Spouse, Father, Mother, Legal Guardian, Son, Daughter, Brother and Sister.

In the case of a death in the immediate family of an employee, the Company will grant to the employee, two three (23) days' days leave of absence with pay at the employee's regular hourly rate of pay. Immediate family shall mean: Spouse, Common Law Spouse, Spousal Equivalent (as defined in law), Father, Mother, Legal Guardian, Son, Daughter, Brother and Sister.

In the case of a death in the immediate family of an employee, the Company will grant to the employee, two (2) days' ’ leave of absence with pay at the employee's ’s regular hourly rate of pay. Immediate family shall mean: Spouse, Father, Mother, Legal Guardian, Son, Daughter, Brother and Sister.

BEREAVEMENT PAY. In the case of If a death occurs in the immediate family of an employee, who is both scheduled and available for work, the Company will grant to three (3) days paid leave of absence. Members of the employee, two (2) days' leave of absence with pay at ’s immediate family are defined as the employee's regular hourly rate of pay. Immediate family shall mean: Spouse’s spouse (including same-sex partner), Fathermother, Motherfather, Legal Guardianbrothers, Sonsisters, Daughtersons, Brother daughters, mother-in- law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepchildren, step-parents, grandparents, grandparents-in-law and Sistergrandchildren.

BEREAVEMENT PAY. In the case of a death in the immediate family of an employee, the Company will grant him or her upon request up to the employee, two three (23) days' consecutive days leave of absence with pay at pay. This leave must include the employee's regular hourly rate day of paythe funeral. Immediate family shall mean: Spousemean mother, Fatherfather, Motherspouse, Legal Guardianchildren, Sonbrothers, Daughtersisters, Brother mother-in-law and Sisterfather-in-law.
