BID PERIOD ASSISTANCE. The PROFESSIONAL shall perform the following services: a. Bidding Documents. The PROJECT will be let by the CLIENT, and the PROFESSIONAL shall supply the necessary Contract Documents for this process. The PROFESSIONAL shall distribute the Contract Documents to potential bidders via upload to QuestCDN.

BID PERIOD ASSISTANCE. 1. The ENGINEER shall assemble the bid documents including construction drawings and project manuals. 2. The ENGINEER shall distribute the bid documents to interested contractors and plan rooms and shall document plan holder contact information and addendum tracking. 3. The ENGINEER shall prepare and facilitate electronic plan distribution via Quest Construction Data Network (CDN). 4. The ENGINEER shall assist the CITY in soliciting of bids by contacting contractors and distribute bid documents to contractors and plan rooms. 5. The ENGINEER shall assist the CITY in clarification of the plan design and issue addenda as required. 6. The ENGINEER will be present at the bid opening and issue a recommendation of award to the CITY. 7. The ENGINEER will be present at the preconstruction meeting.

  • Termination Assistance Upon nearing the end of the final term or termination of this Agreement, without respect to cause, the Party shall take all reasonable and prudent measures to facilitate any transition required by the State. All State property, tangible and intangible, shall be returned to the State upon demand at no additional cost to the State in a format acceptable to the State.

  • Employee Assistance Program Neither the fact of an employee's participation in an employee assistance program, nor information generated by participation in the program, shall be used as a reason for discipline under this Article, except for information relating to an employee's failure to participate in an employee assistance program consistent with the terms to which the employee and the University have agreed.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.
