Board Certification Eligibility. Effective the first day of the pay period following the effective date of this Agreement, an employee in a position for which the appointing authority requires Board Certification and who has been certified by the appropriate Medical Specialty Board as having achieved the required Board Certification eligibility may be granted supplemental pay in an amount up to $5.675.93 per hour for Physicians and $6.196.47 per hour for Psychiatrists, at the sole discretion of the appointing authority. No credit will be given for board certification eligibility in a specialty not directly related to the employee’s position, as determined by the appointing authority. Effective June 275, 20046, such an employee may be granted supplemental pay in an amount up to $5.736.05 per hour for Physicians and $6.266.60 per hour for Psychiatrists. Effective April 1, 2007, such an employee may be granted supplemental pay in an amount up to $6.18 per hour for Physicians and $6.75 per hour for Psychiatrists.
