Building Permits and Conformity to Legal Requirements. 2.1.6.1 Architect shall cause drawings and specifications to conform to and adequately address applicable requirements of federal, state, regional, and local law, DSA requirements (structural safety, fire/life safety, and access compliance sections), and requirements of the CDE, which must approve the drawings and specifications, and shall cause the necessary copies of such drawings and specifications to be filed with those agencies for approval.

Building Permits and Conformity to Legal Requirements. 2.1.6.1 Architect/Engineer shall cause drawings and specifications to conform to applicable requirements of law, local, regional, federal and state, and to requirements of the Division of State Architect (structural safety, earthquake safety, fire/life safety, and access compliance section), the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), the State Fire Xxxxxxxx, and the State Department of Education, whose approval of the drawings and specifications must be obtained, and shall cause the necessary copies of such drawings and specifications to be filed with these bodies for approval in accordance with paragraph 2.1.5.2 of this article. The design shall take into consideration the environmental comfort and work efficiency of the occupants.

The Architect shall cause drawings and specifications to conform to applicable requirements of law, local, regional, and State, and to requirements of public authorities and bodies formed under local, regional, State, or federal law, including, but not limited to, DSA, CDE, local or regional planning agencies, Cal Trans, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, whose approval of the drawings and specifications must be obtained, and shall cause the necessary copies of such drawings and specifications to be filed with these bodies for approval in accordance with paragraph (e)(ii) of this Article.

  • Minimum Vendor Legal Requirements Vendor shall remain aware of and comply with this Agreement and all local, state, and federal laws governing the sale of products/services offered by Vendor under this contract. Such applicable laws, ordinances, and policies must be complied with even if not specified herein.

  • Compliance with Legal Requirements The granting and exercising of the Option, and any other obligations of the Company under this Agreement shall be subject to all applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations and to such approvals by any regulatory or governmental agency as may be required. The Committee, in its sole discretion, may postpone the issuance or delivery of Option Shares as the Committee may consider appropriate and may require the Participant to make such representations and furnish such information as it may consider appropriate in connection with the issuance or delivery of Option Shares in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

  • Building Permits All building permits required for the construction of the Improvements have been obtained prior to the commencement of the construction of the Improvements and copies of same will be delivered to Lessor.

  • Surveys, Permits, and Regulations The Owner shall furnish all surveys unless otherwise specified. Permits and licenses of a temporary nature necessary for the prosecution of the Work shall be obtained and paid for by the Contractor. Permits, licenses, and easements for permanent structures or permanent changes in existing facilities shall be obtained and paid for by the Owner unless otherwise specified. The Contractor and its Subcontractors must pay any municipal or county occupational licenses, taxes, or fees, if any. The Contractor shall give all notices and comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations bearing on the conduct of the Work. If the Contractor observes that the drawings or specifications are at variance with any such laws, ordinances, rules or regulations, he shall promptly notify the Owner in writing, and any necessary changes shall be adjusted as provided in the Contract for changes in the Work. If the Contractor performs any Work knowing it to be contrary to such laws, ordinances, rules or regulations without such notice to the Owner, he shall bear all costs arising therefrom. Nothing in this paragraph shall be construed to impose design responsibility on the Contractor except as noted in the Contract Documents.

  • Permits, Licenses, and Safety PURCHASER shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all charges and fees, and give all notices necessary and incident to the due and lawful prosecution of the operations. STATE may at any time require PURCHASER to satisfy STATE that operations under this contract comply with state, federal, and local laws and regulations. STATE may require PURCHASER to obtain a permit, license, or approval from the governmental body or agency responsible for administering applicable laws before PURCHASER may begin or continue an operation under this contract. In the performance of the operations, PURCHASER shall use every reasonable and practicable means to avoid damage to property and injury to persons. The responsibility of PURCHASER stated herein shall cease upon the operations being accepted as complete by STATE.

  • Other Legal Requirements The references to particular laws of the State of New York in this Article, in Exhibit C and elsewhere in this Agreement are not intended to be exclusive and nothing contained in such Article, Exhibit and Agreement shall be deemed to modify the obligations of the Contractor to comply with all legal requirements.

  • PRUDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 12.1 Retailer will satisfy prudential requirements: If required by a notice from the Distributor, the Retailer will comply with either one of the following prudential requirements within 10 Working Days of receipt of the Distributor's notice:
