Business Costs. In accordance with applicable laws, employees shall not have unauthorized deductions made from their checks for such business costs as walkouts, bad checks, incorrect credit card stamps, addition errors, overpouring, cash register shortages or breakages.

Business Costs. Business costs include all costs of the Commission Agent’s participation in and work under the Contract and Appendix B, including but not limited to payment for the Commission Agent’s cost of office space, utilities, postage, necessary DMV forms that can be downloaded and reproduced, taxes, bank fees, telecommunication charges, insurance, computer hardware and software, cell phone, including any hardware and/or software required by the DMV, except as specified in Section II of Appendix H, DMV Commission Agent; costs for installation, repair, and support of any and all computer and peripheral system(s).

The District is solely responsible for any and all costs of doing business in all matters relating to work, including, but not limited to, any costs related to job required trainings and certifications. In the event that a District training cannot be held during the employees regular work hours, the Unit Member will be paid at their regular rate of pay, or overtime, or holiday pay as applicable or time spent in District’s training. IMPLEMENTATION AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT AND NEGOTIATION PROCEDURES
A. During the term of this Agreement, the exclusive representative agrees that the District shall not be obligated to meet and negotiate with respect to any subject or matter referred to or covered in this Agreement. Upon request and mutual agreement the parties may reopen negotiations during the term of this agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the parties shall meet and negotiate regarding impact legislation affecting any term or condition of employment in this agreement. During the term of this Agreement, in the event of a minor change, new practice subject, or matter arising that impacts hours, pay, workload, or conditions of employment, the Union shall be notified and shall have the right to meet and confer upon request.
B. This Agreement shall supersede any rules, regulations, or practices of the Board which shall be contrary to or inconsistent with its terms. The parties further agree to continuation of all other written Board policies and rules and regulations not specifically enumerated herein.
C. This Agreement shall become effective upon ratification by both parties and remain in effect until midnight, June 30, 2025.
D. The parties to this Agreement may mutually agree to extend this contract until a subsequent Agreement can be reached.
