Common use of Call Back Pay Clause in Contracts

Call Back Pay. Any employee called back to work outside of his/her regularly scheduled shift or on his/her scheduled days off shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the applicable rate. Work schedules will not be changed because of call-back time in order to avoid overtime or straight time pay. If the employee has been called back to take care of an emergency, the Employer shall not require the employee to work for the entire two (2) hour period by assigning the employee extra non-essential work.
