Common use of Call Backs Clause in Contracts

Call Backs. 27.01 When an Employee is called back to work after completing a shift, the Employee will be paid a minimum of three (3) hours at the overtime rate or be granted time off in lieu of overtime. If an Employee receives a second call to work within the foregoing three (3) hour period, the Employee will not receive any additional compensation unless the total time worked exceeds three (3) hours. In such event, the Employee will be compensated for the total hours at the overtime rate or be granted time off in lieu of overtime.
