Common use of Carry Over of Vacation Clause in Contracts

Carry Over of Vacation. The vacation entitlement contained herein will be taken by all the employees annually, subject, however, to the provision that the employees may make application to the Employer for carry-over of the entitlement to the following year. Carry-over of up to five (5) days may be approved if requested in writing prior to February 1st, of each year, for good and sufficient reason.
