Cessation of Dues Deductions. The Employer shall be relieved from making dues upon an employee’s: (1) termination of employment; (2) transfer to a job other than one covered by the bargaining unit; (3) layoff from work; or (4) an unpaid leave of absence. The Employer is relieved from making dues check-off deductions upon an employee’s: (1) revocation of the check-off authorization; or (2) resignation by the employee from the FOP.

Cessation of Dues Deductions. The Employer shall be relieved from making such individual deductions of dues, fees or assessments upon an employee’s (a) termination of employment, (b) transfer to a job other than one covered by the bargaining unit, (c) layoff from work, (d) an unpaid leave of absence, or (e) employee revocation of check-off. In addition, employees who have executed check-off authorizations which may be revoked on the anniversary date of execution, may also revoke their dues check-off authorization by giving written notice to the Union and Employer.

  • Dues Deductions 88. Dues deductions, once initiated, shall continue until the authorization is revoked in writing by the employee. For the administrative convenience of the Court and the Union, an employee may only revoke a dues authorization by delivering the notice of revocation to the City Controller during the two (2) week period prior to the expiration of this Agreement.
