Change in Teacher Assignment. No changes in the teacher’s assignment may be made later than August 1, unless it is by teacher request or such a change is necessitated by emergency, i.e., a change in enrollment. Such a change shall be considered an involuntary transfer. In the case of an involuntary change after August 1, the Association and any teacher affected shall be notified in writing within five (5) calendar days of the knowledge of such a change and, upon the request of the teacher and/or the Association, the changes shall be promptly reviewed between the building principal and the teacher affected and a representative of the Association, if requested. In the event the review process does not resolve the issue to the mutual satisfaction of the parties involved, the dispute shall be subject to the grievance procedure, if the change is not in compliance with Section 9.6 of this Article.
Change in Teacher Assignment. [X.A] A teacher shall be given notice by July 1 as to any change in their teaching assignments for the next school term; to the extent such changes are known. If later changes are made, the teacher shall be notified within ten (10) working days. When a teacher is notified of a change in assignment within 2 weeks of the start of school, the teacher will be entitled to a $350 reassignment stipend. Newly hired teachers are not eligible for this stipend. A teacher’s regular teaching assignment shall not be changed during the regular school year without the teacher’s consent unless it is necessary to do so due to an emergency as determined by the administration. Any teacher who objects to a change in his teaching assignment may discuss the matter with the Superintendent. When a teacher is required to have a major change in assignment (e.g. grade level, subject area, or room) after the start of school, the teacher will be entitled to a $700 reassignment stipend, and two work days to prepare for such change.

  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Change in Assignment Should it become necessary to make changes in an employee's assignment, the person responsible for making the change shall notify the employee prior to making such change and shall specify such change in writing.

  • Assignment; Change in Control 19.1 Neither Party may assign, delegate, or otherwise transfer this Agreement, or any rights, remedies, or obligations under this Agreement, (including by forward or reverse merger, consolidation, dissolution, or operation of law, and whether voluntarily or by a governmental authority’s action or order) without the prior written consent of the other Party, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, except that either Party may assign, delegate, or otherwise transfer this Agreement or any rights, remedies, or obligations under this Agreement without the other Party’s consent to: (i) an Affiliate; or (ii) an acquirer of all or substantially all of the equity interests, assets, or business to which this Agreement relates of the assigning Party (including by a merger, consolidation, or operation of law). You acknowledge that your assignment, delegation, or other transfer of this Agreement will not relieve you of your obligations under this Agreement. This Agreement binds and inures to the benefit of the Parties and their respective permitted assignees and successors.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Change of Control; Assignment and Subcontracting Except as set forth in this Section 7.5, neither party may assign any of its rights and obligations under this Agreement without the prior written approval of the other party, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld. For purposes of this Section 7.5, a direct or indirect change of control of Registry Operator or any subcontracting arrangement that relates to any Critical Function (as identified in Section 6 of Specification 10) for the TLD (a “Material Subcontracting Arrangement”) shall be deemed an assignment.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • DELEGATION AND/OR ASSIGNMENT The contractor shall not assign the contract in whole or in part or any payment arising there from without the prior written consent of the State Procurement Official. The contractor may delegate facilitation of contract orders to their “Authorized/Certified Dealers” only. This delegation will in no way relieve the contractor of any contractual obligations set forth in this Contract Award.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Other Assignments Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon, the successors and permitted assigns of the parties. Neither party shall assign or transfer its rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
