Changes in Testing Procedures. The parties recognize that during the life of this Contract, there may be improvements in the technology of testing procedure that provide more accurate testing. In that event, the parties will discuss and agree to any such improvements in the Labor Relations Process. If the parties are unable to agree, the procedure shall remain unchanged.

Changes in Testing Procedures. In the event that either the Town of East Hampton or the Union wishes to change any part of the testing procedure or test administrator, both parties will discuss whether to amend this policy to include such changes. In the event the parties are unable to resolve the issue of the proposed changes, such proposals are subject to arbitration under the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The SAMSHA standards that are referenced in this Agreement are contained in the Federal Register, Department of Health and Human Services, Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Mental Health Administration. Should these standards be updated or changed during the life of this Agreement, the Employer and Union agree that the provision of Addendum F shall be based upon the latest SAMSHA standards in effect.

e. The Company retains the right to recall those on a voluntary layoff at any time based on production needs or if the skills of the volunteer are required. The Company also retains the right to deny voluntary layoff if the volunteer’s skill is needed at the time of layoff.
f. The Company agrees to pay their share of all insurance premiums for any employee on voluntary layoff. Also, the employee agrees to pay their share of all insurance premiums. All other benefit restrictions will apply as for employees on normal layoff. Insurance payments are due the first of the month of applicable coverage.
