Common use of Citizenship Leave Clause in Contracts

Citizenship Leave. 17.07 An employee who is required to be absent from work during his/her normal working hours for the purpose of obtaining his/her Canadian Citizenship shall, on two (2) occasions only, be granted one (1) day’s leave of absence with pay on each such occasion.
