Common use of Civic Duty Leave Clause in Contracts

Civic Duty Leave. Any employee who is called for jury duty, subpoenaed as a witness in a case not involving personal litigation, subpoenaed by a court as a result of job related incidents, or as a witness on behalf of the Board shall be given leave and paid his/her full salary. The employee must return to duty if he/she is dismissed from further duty by 12:00 noon.
