Common use of Civic Leave Clause in Contracts

Civic Leave. A certified teacher may be excused for civic responsibilities in which the teacher has leadership responsibilities. A written request must be submitted to the superintendent for approval five (5) calendar days in advance. Not over two (2) days shall be granted to any teacher for this purpose in any year. These days are not accumulative.
