Classification Guidelines. Supplier shall implement and maintain a process to classify information based on its relevant legal requirements, sensitivity, and its criticality to Supplier so that limitations can be put on the data internally and externally. Appropriate procedures for information labeling and handling shall be developed based on the classification system adopted by the Supplier.
Classification Guidelines. A. Does the Provider provide the same services to other entities or to the general public as part of a trade or business? Yes No If the answer is “Yes” continue answering the questions below. If the answer is “No” the Provider should be classified as an employee and processed through Human Resources.
B. Will the department provide the Provider with specific instructions regarding performance of the required work rather than rely on the Provider’s expertise? Yes No

Depending on the requested service, a determination will be made by the Controller’s Division as to whether the Provider will be classified as an independent contractor or an employee.
Classification Guidelines. The Employer may appoint a person to an Instructor or Demonstrator position at a step up scale who has several years of progressive related experience in addition to the minimum required to enter the Class as follows: Class 1 & 2 up to Step 6 Class 3, 4 & 5 up to Step 7 Class 6 & 7 up to Step 8
Classification Guidelines. It is the responsibility of the relevant System Manager to ensure that each information asset is classified in terms of its confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements. Procedures for classification are laid out in the Information Classification Policy.
Classification Guidelines. A. All activities which can function successfully during the school day are more available to the youngsters and put less strain on the teacher's time, therefore, as many as possible should be scheduled.
B. By their very nature, some activities must take place outside of the school day. The advisors of these shall be compensated according to the amount of time, the size of the group, elements of safety, location, time of activity, and responsibility involved, provided that the activity meets for more than forty (40) hours in the school year.
C. Activities will be classified (see classification schedule attached hereto as Appendix B) and may be subject to re-classification up or down as the activity or the needs of the school change.
D. Requests for new activities shall be submitted to the Board. Board approval must be obtained prior to the commencement of the new activity and in order for the new activity to qualify for pay.
