Classroom Teachers. The parties agree that the following evaluation system is to be implemented in a manner consistent with good faith and mutual respect, and as defined in RCW 28A.405.110 . Additionally, the parties agree that the evaluation process is one which will be implemented with collaboration between the evaluator and the bargaining unit member, as described in WAC 000-000-000: 1. Professional Development a. Prior to being evaluated under Article 25, each teacher shall receive professional development about the evaluation process. b. No employee shall be evaluated by an evaluator who has not been trained in observation, evaluation, and the use of the specific instructional framework and rubrics contained in this system and any relevant state or federal requirements. The training shall include inter-rater reliability of each assessor.
