Coffee Breaks and Meal Periods. a) There will be two (2) coffee breaks of ten (10) minutes duration on each shift, one in the first half of the shift and one in the second half of the shift. b) Employees will be given a meal period of one half (1/2) hour per shift but such period will not be considered as time worked. c) Employees required to work beyond ten (10) hours in a day will be provided with an additional coffee break of ten (10) minutes. d) If employees are not scheduled but are required to work beyond twelve (12) hours in a day, the Employer will provide a meal period of one half (1/2) hour and a meal for the employees. e) Meal breaks will apply in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.

d) Employees who work beyond ten twelve (1012) hours in a day will be provided with an additional coffee break of ten (10) minutes.
