Collaborative Meetings. Less than full time faculty members may attend these meetings and will receive prorated pay for each collaborative meeting.

Collaborative Meetings. On a regular basis, as scheduled by the Association and the District, the parties shall meet to discuss problems relating to the interpretation or compliance with this Collective Bargaining Agreement and any other issues of concern to either party. Such meetings will be held as requested by either party, but the parties shall schedule at least three (3) meetings per year. If the meetings occur during the workday the employees shall suffer no loss in pay.
Collaborative Meetings. The parties recognize that collaborative meetings are desirable but that they shall not be held merely for the purpose of information dissemination which could effectively be achieved through posted notices, e-mails or handouts. Collaborative meetings shall be scheduled on Wednesdays for up to one hour. Such meetings shall be collaborative in nature and may include data team meetings, team meetings, grade level meetings, RTI, and other school related issues. An agenda for the meeting listing the subject matter to be discussed shall be emailed to staff 48 hours before the scheduled meeting. Cancellations shall be noticed via email 48 hours in advance, except in cases of emergency. When a teacher has a commitment, which antedates the notice or is of a serious nature, relief should be sought from the meeting through the immediate supervisor, which relief shall not be unreasonably denied. Collaborative meetings may only be recorded upon agreement between the appropriate administrator and the Union.
Collaborative Meetings. A. Behavioral Wellness shall conduct a Collaborative Meeting at least annually, and more frequently, if needed, with Contractor to collaboratively discuss programmatic, fiscal, and contract matters.

The purpose of the meetings shall be to increase communication between the parties about issues of concern and to reach solutions in an informal environment. In advance of each meeting, each party shall submit a list of the issues which it wishes to discuss at the meeting. Each December, the Guild President and the Chief of Police or his/her designee shall develop an annual schedule for the collaborative meetings. If an employee or the Guild has an issue which could be the subject of a grievance, the employee or the Guild shall have the option of submitting the issue in writing to the next collaborative meeting. If such an issue is submitted to the next collaborative meeting, any time limits in the grievance procedure shall be held temporarily in abeyance from the date the issue is submitted to the meeting until 10 days after the conclusion of the meeting. Nothing in this article shall prevent the parties from reaching solutions to any issue submitted to a collaborative meeting prior to the date of the meeting.

Each December the Guild President and the Chief of Police shall develop an annual schedule for the collaborative meetings. It is recognized that meetings may need to be postponed due to schedules or by mutual agreement.

Administration or Management representatives from Independent Contractor and Head Start Program will meet a minimum quarterly or two times per year as a team to assure quality or services and compliance with the regulations specified above. If the team notes any non-compliance with applicable regulations, he team will develop a written action plan with timelines to correct the non-compliances.

When the parties reach understandings regarding the Agreement or choose to enter into new Agreements within the contract period, only the City Manager or designee is authorized to enter into Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and/or Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) with the Police Guild. It is further understood that an Agreement may require prior authorization by the Police Guild body before execution of the Agreement with the City.

If an employee or the BPMA has an issue which could be the subject of a grievance, the employee or the BPMA shall have the option of submitting the issue in writing to the next collaborative meeting. If such an issue is submitted to the next collaborative meeting, any time limits in the grievance procedure shall be held temporarily in abeyance from the date the issue is submitted to the meeting until 10 days after the conclusion of the meeting.
