Community Integration Payment. A. Adult family home providers who have a contract with the State to provide support to clients with an assessed need for support to access and participate in the community will receive an adjusted daily rate to provide four (4) hours per month. The adjusted daily rate will be the total of the Service Area Community Integration daily rate added to the Base Daily Rate. 1. Effective July 1, 2019 the Community Integration Service Area daily rates shall be: King County: two-dollars and forty-four cents ($2.44); Metropolitan Service Area: two-dollars and thirty-three cents ($2.33); and the Non-Metropolitan Service Area: two-dollars and twenty-one cents ($2.21). The adjusted daily rates effective July 1, 2019 for adult family home providers who support clients to access and participate in the community.‌ 2. Effective July 1, 2020 the Community Integration Service Area daily rates shall be: King County: two-dollars and forty-eight cents ($2.48); Metropolitan Service Area: two-dollars and thirty-seven cents ($2.37); and the Non-Metropolitan Service Area: two-dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25). Adult family home providers who transport clients to access and participate in the community as authorized in the client’s care or service plan, will be reimbursed per-mile driven for up to one-hundred (100) miles per month per client based on the standard mileage rate recognized by the Internal Revenue Service federal mileage. C. Adult family home providers who offer and provide support to clients with an assessed need for support to access and participate in the community through a contract with a PACE organization will receive a rate inclusive of the community Integration rates described above.

This provision is subject to approval and matching funds by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. If the state is unsuccessful in receiving approval from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) the parties shall meet to bargain over the adjusted daily rate and mileage.
