COMPENSABLE LEAVE. A. At the beginning of the school year, each teacher shall be credited with fourteen (14) days of Compensable Leave. This benefit will be prorated for teachers hired after the beginning of the school year according to appropriate percentages associated with the hiring date. B. Each teacher shall be entitled to an accumulation of the unused portion of each year’s compensable leave which shall be available to him/her in future years. Teachers shall be given written notification by October 1 of each school year as to the number of Compensable Leave Days that they have accumulated. C. Compensable Leave shall be granted in accordance with the schedule specified herein, subject to the following conditions:
