COMPENSATION AND INSURANCE BENEFITS. 12.1 Salary schedules for classified employees in the bargaining unit are located in Appendix A and by this reference are incorporated herein. Steps of the salary schedules will be maintained at five percent (5%) increases between steps one through six (1-6) and maintained at two percent (2%) increases between steps six through nine (6-9).

B. Payroll will be issued on the 10th and 25th of each month. If the 10th or 25th should fall on a non-scheduled school day, payroll will be issued on the day preceding the non-scheduled school day. Non-year round employees may select nineteen (19) or twenty-four (24)

Compensation - All employees of the Board are protected under the State Workers’ Compensation Act of Ohio in case of injury or death incurred in the course of and arising out of their employment. An employee’s application for this compensation, signed by the attending physician, must be filed by the employee.

Section 1 Pay Rate Increases: Pay rate increases for each contract year for all employees except lead positions and set-up crew will be $.0.50 per hour for each Tier I employee and $1.50 per hour for Tier II employees. All lead positions (Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx, Assistant Head Custodian, Lead Electrician, Lead Engineer and Lead Grounds Specialist) will receive $36.96 per hour for 2019- 2020 and $0.50 increase per hour for each of the remaining years of the contract. Set up Crew will receive $2.00 per hour increase for each contract year. The retro pay for the 2019-2020 school year and pay for vacation days accrued during the 2018-2019 school year will be processed as separate checks no later than November 22, 2019.
