  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest ‌ (a) When a paid holiday falls on a regular full-time employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu of the holiday. (b) If a regular full-time employee is called in to work on the day designated as the lieu day pursuant to (a) above, he/she shall be compensated at time and one-half for all hours worked.

  • Compensation for Work on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and their regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, they shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times their regular rate of pay as follows: (i) compensation at one and one-half (1½) times their regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and (ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time in accordance with Article 18.11.   • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an Employee covered by this clause shall receive a loading of 22.5% calculated on the all-purpose rate of wage prescribed by Appendix A, clause 2.3 of this Agreement.
