Compensation for Work Outside the Duty Day. Teachers will be compensated for committee work outside the duty day provided the work is dedicated primarily to improving classroom instruction. Examples of this type of work are the professional development council (PDC), the School Improvement committees, SIT committees, the curriculum committee, the textbook selection committees and the subject area committees. In the future when the Board approves the formation of other committees, it will determine at that time whether or not Teachers will be compensated for time spent in committee work. Committee work outside the duty day is voluntary on the part of the Teacher, and if requested to serve, the Teacher may refuse without prejudice. A teacher serving on a committee approved for compensation is required to document and account for the same by gaining advanced approval from his/her immediate supervisor. A voucher indicating work purpose, date, and time is to be signed by his/her immediate supervisor and submitted to the Superintendent’s office on a monthly or annual

  • Compensation for Additional Services Additional Services shall be compensated as set forth on Exhibit A for the stipulated payment amounts set forth therein. Other Additional Services not set forth on Exhibit A that are required or requested by the Owner shall be compensated as agreed, using the methodology set forth on Exhibit A, prior to the Design Professional undertaking such Additional Services; provided, however, that if such compensation cannot be agreed, the Additional Services shall be performed at the hourly rates set forth and listed in Exhibit B, plus reimbursable expenses pursuant to Article 4.1.3 below, with a limitation as to maximum amount specified.

  • Compensation for Overtime 9.5.1 All overtime hours, except those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) hours in one day, shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to time and one-half the regular rate of pay of the employee.
